Taslima Ahmed is passionate about improving population health through dietary management. Her current research work focuses on: nutrition throughout life focused on scientific advances in promoting growth, resilience, and survival; the impact of diet on metabolic health; population-based epidemiologic studies and intervention trials; public health and nutrition. She is particularly interested in how diet, nutrition, and diseases are linked. 

Taslima Ahmed received her BSc. (Hons.) in Food Science and Technology (CGPA 3.87 out of 4.00) & MS in Applied Human Nutrition and Dietetics (CGPA 3.92 out of 4.00) from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Bangladesh.
