The university provides good education materials and a proper environment for the students. All the classrooms are air-conditioned and digitalized with facilities like the smartboard, smart TV screen, projector, computer, and internet access. The practical laboratories are so much enriched and well equipped so that students can experience their practical learning. There are two well-organized student halls for resident male and female students, one playground, mosque and prayer hall, and a digital library in CVASU. The overall ambiance of CVASU is charming and suitable for quality education and psychological growth.

There is an internship facility at home and abroad for each of the students of all the respective faculties of CVASU. Every year, the students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) go for internship in India, USA and Thailand; the students of the Faculty of Fisheries (FoF) and Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FST) get the opportunity to go Malaysia for the same.

CVASU has mainly three campuses, main campus is in Khulshi, Chattogram, farm based campus situated in Hathazari, Chattogram and a marine research station in Cox’s Bazar. CVASU also has a pet hospital at Purbachal in Dhaka and a research vessel at Kaptai Lake, Rangamati. The main campus is located in the core areas of Chattogram and adjacent to the international airport. Hence, traveling and communicating with CVASU from all over the country and abroad is quite easier. The main campus of CVASU in Khulshi is very adjacent to two of the significant tourist spots of Chattogram, the Chattogram Zoo, and the Foy's Lake. Since Khulshi is a residential area, hospitals, markets, and other necessary facilities for standard life are available near this campus.

CVASU has the most attractive places for practical learning which are the anatomy museum and the fisheries museum. It is recognized that CVASU has the largest veterinary museum in this country with varieties of collections including preserved animal samples, skeletons, specimens, and stuffed animals amongst which the skeleton of an elephant is the latest inclusion. The fisheries museum is enriched with many specimens, stuffed samples, and skeletons of fishes as well as varieties of shellfishes, aquatic algae, and coral species, etc. The marine corner of the fisheries museum is very attractive and enriched among other sections of that museum.

CVASU emphasizes research and field works and provides different facilities to conduct research and fieldwork. Veterinary hospitals, farms, coastal biodiversity research campuses, and research vessels in Kaptai Lake are the noticeable facilities for conducting research works. Opportunities for practical research and field works are greater in CVASU because of its location. As CVASU is situated in the core area of Chattogram, the students of veterinary medicine get the opportunity to engage in medical practice and field works all over the division. Being a port city, there are many food-producing and processing industries in Chattogram in which the students of food science and technology get practical experiences. Moreover, the Bay of Bengal and various fresh-waterbodies and fish processing plants are adjacent to the campus and this is really opportunistic for the students of fisheries to gain practical and fieldwork experiences. CVASU helps the students to become efficient for higher education in their respective fields and to contribute to the nation and the globe in a sustainable way.
