Professor Dr. ASM Lutful Ahasan received Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree  from University of Chittagong, Bangladesh and MSc in Molecular Biology from Interuniversity Programme Molecular Biology (IPMB) organized by Vrije University Brussels, Katholieke University Leuven, Antwerpen University and Ghent University, Belgium. He completed PGT from PTC+, Onenkerk, The Netherlands and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Milan, Italy (2015). Prof. Ahasan joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Anatomy and Histology, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) in 2003 and served as an Assistant Professor from 2008 until 2012 and an Associate Professor from 2012 until 2017. Currently, he holds a position of Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Histology, CVASU. His research interests are in the areas of molecular biology, molecular immunology and serology, genomics, proteomics, molecular diagnostics, and in vivo animal experiment. Prof. Ahasan has a strong record of research in his area as evident by receiving a number of awards and fellowships from different prestigious organizations like VLIR-UOS Scholarship, Belgium, NFP Scholarship, The Netherlands and University of Milan PhD scholarship. He has published many peer reviewed research articles and supervised postgraduate and internship students.
