Mohammed Ashif Imtiaz Shawn received Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University under the faculty of veterinary medicine. He achieved Master of Science (MS) degree in pharmacology under the department of physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology from the same university. Earlier he had received clinical training from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, India as a part of his internship tenure.

In the year 2015, he joined as lecturer in physiology department and now working as assistant professor from July, 2017. He is a young academician and research interest includes in the area of molecular biology and a new drug discovery.

DR. Imtiaz has some records of research publications in the respected journals such as BMC Veterinary Research, Research Journal for Veterinary Practitioners, Veterinary World, Bangladesh Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Bangladesh Journal of Animal Sciences and Wayamba Journal of Animal Science. In addition, he has published a significant number of abstracts in the proceedings of various conferences. He supervised several undergraduate students in their undergraduate studies and co-supervised 5 fellows on their Master’s research.
