Jeba Faizah Rahman currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Bioprocess and Genetic Engineering under the Faculty of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at CVASU, Chittagong-4330, Bangladesh.
Jeba Faizah Rahman was born into a respected and well-educated Muslim family in Netrakona. She is the beloved daughter of Md. Mazibur Rahman and Bilkis Banu, and is blessed with a twin sister, Jeba Fairooz Rahman, who is also pursuing an academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at KUET, Khulna. Inspired by their parents, who dedicated their careers to teaching at government colleges, both sisters have embraced the noble profession of teaching, driven by a shared commitment to impart knowledge and contribute to the academic community.
She completed her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination in 2014 from Durgapur Govt. Girls’ High School, Netrakona and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Examination in 2016 from Muminunnesa Govt. Mohila College, Mymensingh. Then, she pursued her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet-3114, where she excelled academically, securing 1st position in both her BSc and MS degrees from the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
Her professional career began as a Research Assistant in the Plant Genetic Engineering Lab at SUST, where she gained invaluable research experience before joining CVASU as a faculty member on June 30, 2024. She is a passionate and dedicated young scholar, eager to further her expertise through advanced studies and aims to develop a strong research profile. Her vision is to share her academic excellence and research experience with her students and to help transform the faculty into a thriving hub for scientific discovery and innovation.
