I am Professor Dr. Kh. Nurul Islam born in July, 1969 at South Chamuria, Thana- Kalihati, Tangail. I obtained Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 1984 and Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 1986. I graduated in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Mymensingh in 1990. I did also MS in (Poultry Anatomy) from BAU in 1999. I started my job as Veterinary Surgeon at Sattak, Sunamgonj in 1994. Then, I was lecturer, Assistant and Associate Professor in the department of Anatomy & Histology, Sylhet Govt. Veterinary College from 1996 to 2004,
Subsequently, I promoted as Professor in the department of Anatomy & Histology, Chattogram Govt. Veterinary College in 2004, which has converted to Chattogram Veterinary & Animal Sciences University in 2007. I did PGT at Royal Veterinary College, England in 2008-2009. I did PhD from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia in 2013. I have two patents. One patent on the method of producing calcium carbonate nanoparticles from cockle shell and another on the development of nanocomposite biomaterial bone paste from cockle shell. Currently I am working as Professor in the department of Anatomy and Histology. I am doing researches on Nanotechnology. I am also Dairy, Poultry, Pet Animal and Birds Practitioner.
