Md. Habibur Rahman is a librarian and ex-project leader, Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), with extensive experience in modernizing academic library services. As sub-project Manager, he successfully led two World Bank-funded initiatives to enhance library quality through integrated digital solutions. Rahman pioneered the use of “Koha” for library management and “Dspace” for institutional repositories and implemented RFID technology for efficient collection management in the university. He also established a dedicated e-resource center, providing advanced support for researchers and students. Actively engaged in international collaboration, Rahman has formalized partnerships with institutions in Korea and beyond and is involved in numerous global library networks. He frequently contributes as a resource person on topics such as information literacy and research methodologies and serves as Chief Editor of the Bangladesh Journal of Information Management and Advisory Board member for FAO’s Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts (ASFA). His professional development includes advanced training at institutions in the USA, Korea, Malaysia, and India.
