Dr Monoar Sayeed Pallab is a veterinary surgeon and scientist with interests in applying an understanding of the problem of health, welfare and production of cattle in Bangladesh to development of solutions to that problem in the cattle industry for sustainable and profitable cattle farming for the economic growth of this country. He gained his veterinary degree at the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and a master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery at the Bangladesh Agricultural University. He joined at the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2008 as a lecturer under the Department of Medicine and Surgery. After several years of teaching and mixed practice, he then moved to the UK in 2013 to complete another master’s degree in Veterinary Science by Research at the University of Edinburgh. Shortly after completion of the study in the UK he then went to Australia in 2014 and completed a PhD study in Veterinary Science at the University of Melbourne in 2020. Dr Monoar has been a member of staff at the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University since 2008.
