Dr Monoar Sayeed Pallab is a veterinary surgeon and scientist with interests in application of cancer immunotherapy in particular CAR-T cell therapy and development of mRNA based cancer vaccine. He gained his veterinary degree at the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and a master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery at the Bangladesh Agricultural University. He joined at the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2008 as a lecturer under the Department of Medicine and Surgery. After several years of teaching, research and small animal practice, he then moved to the UK in 2013 to complete another master’s degree in Veterinary Science by Research at the University of Edinburgh. Shortly after completion of the study in the UK he then went to Australia in 2014 and completed a PhD study in Veterinary Science at the University of Melbourne in 2020. Dr Monoar has been a member of staff at the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University since 2008.
