DR. Omar Faruk Miazi, graduated on Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) and then completed MPhil on Biological  Science from Chittagong University, Bangladesh. Thereafter, he received postgraduate course (MS) in Veterinary Epidemiology from Copenhagen University, Denmark. He completed his doctoral degree (PhD in Wildlife Management and Conservation Biology) from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. DR. Miazi has received an overseas clinical training from Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University as a part of his DVM internship program. He also received training from Tufts Cumming School of Veterinary Medicine, USA.  He received postgraduate diploma (PGD) in Reproductive Biotechnology from The Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand.

DR. Miazi has a strong record of research in his area that includes publications of a number of papers in the reputed national and international journals.
